Curse of House Thimbrall (orsal judging)

Levin

"Lets hope all the other zombies are that easy to kill. I didn't think they're that weak."

Levin joins in to help Boog search.

OOC: I want to once again apologize for the lack of promptness. I'm still getting used to my new schedule having a second job and it weears me out. Oh and for the record, the weekend seems to be kind of slow around here so I generally don't post unless all the players do. Anyways, here you go...

As a result of your careful searching here is what you find:

On the body of the first zombie, you find a belt buckle of exquisite design and artistry, which has the symbol of House Thimbrall on it. Also, the zombies had 25 gold, 10 silver, 3 copper between them in money pouches. On the bookshelf are various works of fiction, but on the top shelf alone is a book entitled "An Annotated History of House Thimbrall."

Jann Hurst Half-Elf Sorceror1

After the room has been searched, Jann moves into position to offer fire support for the next door, with his crossbow loaded and ready.

OOC: Any other door than the one we just used? Windows on east and south wall, door on the west (the one we just enter). Nothing on the North?

Ridik starts to write down again on his scroll:

-1-2

1: Hall - Found: Cloak, Sword of House Thimbrall
2: Lecture Room - Found: Belt Buckle, 25 gp, 10 sp, 3 cp, Book "An Annotated History of House Thimbrall"

As he write down the last note, he did it hastly and grabs the book. "That will be intresting. Let's see quickly what there is in that book." He starts to scan the page, looking for titles, sub-titles, pictures and annotations. After scanning the whole book, he will see if there is any notes on the curse or the amulet.

Levin

"Hey, Jann. Any chance you could detect magic on the cloak and sword before we all sleep tonight?" Levin paces back and forth.

Jann Hurst Half-Elf Sorceror1

Jann replies "Yes, that will be no problem. However, since we have no idea what kind or number of undead we are up against, here, I'd rather gather everything together, then use the spell. That will help conserve my limited amount of arcane energies for today."

Boog noticed the title of the book as he went past, and almost grabbed it himself. After he finished searching the room, he saw that Ridik was pawing through the book. Boog strolled over to the little goblin, and looming over his shoulder, suggested that, "If you're looking for anything about the amulet, it's probably on the last page. If there was anything to look at and you didn't have much time, you might as well read the last 3 pages."

Glancing around, he announced to no one in particular, "Since there's no other door out of here, we might as well examine the room on the other side of the entrance, since it's probably the same design".

"I agree. Keth, ao'Thuir, do you want to do the honors again? If we meet the same resistance from this room, you two will probably be able to handle it without endangering anyone else." Jann positions himself at an angle, so that he might be able to shoot past those in the doorway to anything on the other side.
