Curse of House Thimbrall (orsal judging)

For the record, despite the fact that you guys picked up the sword and cloak, you still know that they are magical. And now, on with the show...

The room that you enter looks like a place where guests were to be entertained, a great hall. This room is 40' by 40'. In the center is a table which measures 20' by 10', with 12 seats around it. The table is partially set with silverware. Above the table hangs the standard of House Thimbrall. There is a purple rug underneath the table with the same dimensions as the table. Along the northwest and northeast corners are stairs leading up.
There are doorways on the east and west walls, as well as one leading north.

Looking at you are four zombies. Two of them stand by the table. One is on the stairs. One is coming from the west door. No surprise. Roll initiative (using Invisible Castle).

OOC: Jann's initiative is 17.

Reacting quickly, Jann shoots his crossbow at the zombie behind the table (Z2), first taking a step forward and to his right to get a clear shot. However, his shot flies wide. He immediately drops his crossbow and pulls out his spear, muttering curses at his shaky hands.

Levin, 8/16 hp

Initiative 20+3=23
OOC: i forget to include my psycrystal modifier, so i just added it on now. Sorry. Also, Levin was speciffically taking doorway squares, so i should be up front. I'm assuming the sword is just a +1 longsword. also forgot charge mod on to hit

Levin charges the zombie in front of him. He swings his new sword 8+5=13. 1+3=4 damage.

Ridik starts to stare at all the decoration around and took time to notice the zombies (Initiative roll: 3). Seeing there number, Ridik decide to sheat his mace (move action) and call over the protection of Russna (Turn undead, standard action).

"Russna, protect your servant from those creatures"

And Ridik feels the power of Russna in the hand holding his holy symbol. (Turning Check 20, meaing 4HD are turned, 2HD are destroyed (the roll said 21, but I wrote +2 for modifier, not +1 as it should be), Turning Damage : 9)

OK, I changed the map so that Levin is in front and Keth has rear guard.

Some of you guys need to reconsider your actions. The only Zombie that can be charged by anyone is Z1 by Levin. You can't move around a corner so that prevents ao'Thuir, and for the rest of you you can't charge through friends.

OOC:[sblock]Seriously, Boog will step to the left, allow most of the party to rush past him, drop his staff (free action), then take a crossbow show at the first zombie who is not in melee. I'm guessing that will be z3 or z4. If Boog finds himself alone in the foyer, he will step inside the hall, drop his staff at the door, and maneuver as much as needed up to 30' to get a clear shot on an unoccupied zombie. And if no zombie is unoccupied, he will maneuver up to 30' to take the shot that is least likely to hit one of his comrades, again dropping his staff at the doorway.[/sblock]Boog took a step, both to clear the way for his comrades and to find a clear path for his crossbow bolt. Most of the others did not hear the clatter of the wooden shaft of his staff dropping to the floor of the ruined mansion; one needs two hands to properly aim a heavy crossbow. Searching for a target, Boog shot at one of the zombies, and it seemed likely that he scored a modest hit as the shaft of the bolt disappeared.

OOC: Only one small change to my turn, I'll move foward up to a place I can see all the room (and so, all the zombies). If I can't sheet my mace will walking, I'll drop it where I finish to move.
