Why stop there? Why not TWICE your charisma bonus?

Or even, your charisma score?

No that would be unbalanced... don't want no half-orcs gaining +8 to attack and damage that would be b0rken!!!1!eleven

common be a little reasonable :

Strong Personality [exalted]

or Eversmite

Add Charisma modifier to hit and damage - only vs evil targets

my redeemed sainted succubus paladin really need this!

I've never met a half-orc with a +8 charisma bonus. That's what, a 26 charisma? That'd make a pretty decent sorcerer...

Except by Exalted Deeds rules, by which that Sorcerer is barely capable of asking the most mundane cantrips.

Nifft is talking about a proposed variant of the feat that allows you to add your charisma score, not merely the modifier.

Now, while it is a lot of fun to mock exalted feats for being overpowered, I think it would be nice to try to satisfy the Angel of Adventure's request and give some exalted feats that are borderline reasonable. Maybe 50% more powerful than a normal feat, or a strong normal. Unless there are more "Holiness" style feats that we still need to get out of our system.

IMC there's no such thing as an [Exalted] feat, but I do have a feat that requires a bit of holiness...

Sun Smite [General]
Your Celestial heritage grants you extra power in the fight against Evil.
Prerequisites: Smite Evil class ability, Aasimar
Benefit: When you smite evil, you deal +4 damage, and your entire strike is considered Holy damage.

Drop the Aasimar pre-req and add an [Exalted] pre-req.

Agreed. I wish I could help myself, but I neither have nor like the BoED... I object to exalted feats on principle (I prefer to avoid the whole "rp as balancing factor" trap whenever possible), but I know there are lots of people out there that play with the BoED stuff.

Surely someone's got something for AoA??

Ok, let me get more specific. I'm playing a Monk 2/Druid 10 character and I've pretty much taken all the exalted feats that are druid specific (though I may drop Exalted Companion, as my character has the Vow of Poverty and having a companion doesn't seem right. Its kind of like a possession in its own right.)

The most useful one, so far, has been Exalted Wild Shape, along with Inuitive Strike. If anyone can throw out some Exalted Druidic type feats, I would be most appreciate.

What about one that allows you to use Turn Plant/Animal to gain a Smite Evil? Or maybe use up one Wild Shape for something Exalted?

Thanks for the help thus far,

AoA

A feat that gives you 10 feats? I think not.

A feat that gives you a divine rank? I think not.

Divine ranks should come from in-game quests and have absolutely nothing to do with the rules system.

Feats that give more feats are just a bad idea. As for Vow of Peace... PCs should pretty much never take it... it's just too restrictive. It's definitely far more appropriate for an NPC who can afford to be utterly unhelpful to her party. However, if you can somehow still be effective in battle, it is very strong and does not need any help, let alone giving TEN feats.

Definately correct. Any feat that allows you to get an entire realm is just wrong. and thousands of possible followers, all because you decided "huh, I'm going to try this feat" uh, hell no.

Wow, so this thread started back when people still thought VoP was overpowered. Not that much in BoED isn't overpowered...

Anyway, there do need to be more epic feats. Here are two we have, I need to think up more sometime. As for epic... I don't know what to give VoP in epic to make it competitive w/ gear. I'm thinking of a "token" system where you get one "token" each epic level and there's just a massive list of stuff you can choose from at the cost of one token, renewable each day. Things like flight, or haste, other buffs, etc...

On to the non-epic stuff:
Thoughtweave [Exalted]
Prerequisites: Wis 13
Benefit: You gain telepathy out to 15 feet, but you can only use this telepathy to communicate with other creatures with the Thoughtweave feat. You may use Thoughtweave to communicate with any creature that has Thoughtweave within 15 feet of a creature that you can communicate with. (Thus, you can communicate with a creature with this feat 25 feet away as long as another creature with this feat is within 15 feet of both of you.)
This is a Supernatural ability.

Piety [Exalted]
Prerequisites: Wis 15
Benefit: You can use your wisdom modifier to qualify for other exalted feats, in place of your charisma modifier.

These feats were made to accomodate a party w/ an exalted Druid and Monk, sorry for the wisdom focus in them.
