Custom Paragon Paths

A temporal paradox occurs when you have an action that cancels itself out. Say you go back in time and kill your dad before you are born. He dies and you aren't born so you can't go back in time to kill him so he lives, so he has you and you go back and kill him so he doesn't have you...ad infinitum.

I honestly don't know how to picture that as a combat power. But the name is so cool that we should come up with something. :)

chronomancer

Chronomancy and time play largeparts in my campaigns and players love it....

one of the reasons we will be doing custom wizards..we don't find that 4E does magic to how my players like it....

Still wondering how would a chronomancer come about........i find your paragon path intriguing...still, something of that power, i would probably handle it from the start i am thinking..but not sure...

*shrug*

it's kinda cool but I have to agree, that last power is a bit strange.

Also i think in the method you are going for, an epic destiny may be better as you could do alot of cool stuff with it.

Paradox Chronomancer Attack 20
“What just happened?” - You manipulate time to a degree that the improbable and impossible occur.
Daily * Arcane, Implement
Standard Action Area Burst 2 within 20
Target: Each creature in burst
Attack: Intellect vs. Will
Hit: Each affected creature makes an automatic hit basic attack against itself.
Effect: Targets are dazed until save.

Hmm. I like the power, but we need a better explanation.

How about: You manipulate and synchronize multiple timelines such that your targets' potential selves interfere with their present attacks.
