Cyberpunk 2020 PnP gets its video game version.

It was known for a while know that CD Project Red is working on a game using the Cyberpunk 2020 world. Now there is the first render trailer (or rather teaser) for it.
Release will be likely in 2015.

Small explanation of what happens in there (which doesn't really do the cyberpunk universe justice).
Sometimes when people use too much cyberware they snap (cyberpsychosis) and go on a killing spree against "meatbags". When the police can't handle such cyborgs they call Max Tac (also called Psycho Squad) which is (partially) composed out of such cyborgs which were reprogrammed. In this trailer they recruit another one.

Oh good, glad to see this heading back into the scifi genre. Cyberpsychosis is one of the more useful tools to keep players from loading up on too much cyberwear in RPGs.

These guys made The Witcher and this game is going to be amazing as long as it is more like Witcher 1.
