No Way, I appreciate the offer but it's not really remaking the character I had from old… The psychic warrior has none of the class abilities that I really remember… She would have been more rogue than anything else so I'm still going to pass on this one. :)

If you could get away with a feat from Sword and Fist (not 3.5 I realize), there's blindsight 5' radius which seems to be what you're looking for. You'd just need to max out wisdom to meet the requirement.

Description:
Gavin appears to have lived a hard life, he has scrathes and scars all over his face, arms, and hands. His tannish colored flesh shows evidence that he spend most of his time in the outdoors, training his body. He stands about 6 ft 5in. and weighs about 270 lbs. He has wavy dark brown hair that falls to his shoulders, he rarely trims it. His grey eyes seem to constantly shine with determination and seem to be dicolorated due to anger and frustration. His clothes are fairly simple and common appearing, he wears a simple sleeveless cloth vest that shows off his muscles, loose fitting cloth breeeches, a sheath strapped to his back, and a belt that has his battleaxe hanging from and his long sword. His belt also has multiple pouches that hold miscellanous objects.

Personality:
Gavin is very slow to trust people, he also has trouble making friends due to his lack of trust and his seemingly cold nature. It's true that he is cold to people when he first meets them, but after being around him long enough he begins toshow he can be caring and a good companion.

History:
Gavin Stormshield grew up learning the usages of weapons from his father, who was a soldier in the local guard. Gavin mastered the use of a battle axe and long sword at the age of seven. Gavin received news that his father was killed by a group of bandits trying to escape the scene of crimes. Gavin promised that he would avenge his fathers death and began to train harder than most would consider healthy. He ignored his academic studies and until he returned to civalization after alienating himself in the wilderness. He alienated himself and went into the wilderness where he could toughen himself up. In the wilderness, Gavin met Siegfried, a elven ranger who befriend him and taught him to speak elven. Upon returning to civilazation, Gavin turned to thievry to make money. Gavin was captured after robbing a halfling's house. He spent a year in jail until being released a year ago. He wandered from tavern to tavern until recently Acer Stadium hired him to be a gladiator.

Indeed you would... Wow, that's an ugly requirement it would take 16 points half of the point buy, or a race with a wisdom bonus, to make it work and she would still would be at an even more disadvantage because of that.

Really, some things don't change over well between editions/systems and I think the blind fighter kit from the complete gladiator is one of them. :)
 


Yes, a point buy breakdown would help alot. Also, whats with your equipment? Youve spent mabey 200 Gp out of the 13k allowed. As Normal means as normal for your level, not starting gold. Also, I forgot to mention, HP is max at first level and half every level after that, with con as normal.

Edit - Also, Acer does not take slaves as gladiators. Most of the other stables do though, and buying, selling, and trading gladiators contracts is common enough.

Personality : Jules is a dour, gruff man; traits he most likely picked up from his foster-father. He is slow to anger, but quick to do something about it when he is. He generally ignores the issues and troubles of others, and is rarely helpful, prefering to save his own neck. This selfishness often leads to fights with others; mostly hotheads who cannot hold their tongues.

Background : Jules was orphaned as a child, making his way surviving in the streets until he was taken in by a merchant. Fed and clothed, he began to work for the merchant, doing chores and manual labour. As Jules grew, the merchant grew more surly and dour. His love for the small innocent child he once knew, began to die, and he began treeting Jules like a slave; asking impossible tasks, and then penalizing him when they were not met. Jules decided to leave, and find his fortune elsewhere, eventually finding his way into service as a labourer in the Arena. In this new setting, he worked, absorbing information from the environment, and spending his free time watching the games. One night, after the games were over and his cleaning duties had finished, he began to practice fighting, as he often did when he was alone in the arena. This time, however, he was caught by one of the combatants that had fought earlier that day. An ex-monk named "Caleb", he began to teach Jules what he knew. Caleb eventually fell; fighting in the games. Jules, his way lost, left to join the army, and get proper training. Seven years later, he is back, wiser and stronger, to see the games once again.

Description:

Kylest looks like a fairly standard member of the dwarven community. Short and stocky with an affinity for wearing too much metal. Those who look past his armor and weaponry will find that his dark brown eyes glitter with a keen intellect, and those eyes are looking right back. He has black hair and a plaited beard tucked into his belt.

History:

Kylest (formerly of the Rockaxe clan) was still a young dwarf when he realized that the chances for advancement amongst his small, parochial settlement were minimal at best. It would be decades before he was recognized as an elder, but he already knew he was smarter than the majority of his clan. All he had to look forward to was years of serving as a guard at the bottom of a dark tunnel, where nobody would ever see his deeds. He set out from his clan for the nearest human town. It wasn't much larger than a village, but there was a traveling gladiator troupe putting on a show.

Kylest watched a few fights and saw the crowd's reaction to the warriors. Before the day was out he had joined the traveling stable. Over the next few years he grew a reputation for being a fierce combatant, and for carrying a ridiculously large blade that he had taken from an orge that he had defeated early in his career. Eventually the troupe moved on to larger cities and Kylest was noticed by a representative of the Acer stable. He was approached and quickly switched allegiences seeing the chance for an even greater future in the city of Tarn.


Personality:

Kylest is fiercely driven by a desire to be better than he is. He is using the gladiatorial combat as a means to acheive that goal. He doesn't fight just for the joy of it (although he does find it thrilling) nor does he fight to satisfy a blood lust. He fights in order to build a reputation large enough to allow him to move up in the world. He is always kind and polite to his fellow warriors outside of combat, never picking fights or causing trouble. He has a soft spot for the underdog and will often do whatever he can in order to help out gladiators just starting out in their careers, giving them pointers or training.
