D&D 3e Gamers in south Milwaukee suburbs?

First Post
Within several weeks, I will be relocating to Franklin, Wis. (just southwest of Milwaukee) from the Twin Cities -- and this will spell the end of my current gaming groups (DMing a Scarred Lands campaign/playing in a Greyhawk campaign, both monthly games.)

I'm hoping there are other adult D&D 3e gamers in the Milwaukee area (heck, it's just a hop, skip and a jump from TSR's old HQ so there's gotta be a good gaming base there, I hope). I'd love to continue DMing a Scarred Lands campaign or join an existing campaign. Once a week would be a little too intensive for my schedule, but bi-weekly or monthly campaigns would be great.

Let me know if you've got room at your gaming table or if you'd like to join a Scarred Lands campaign. Thanks.

Don't tempt me! :) I'd love to play in a Scarred Lands game, but my gaming plate is kind of full right now. There are lots of gamers in Milwaukee; hopefully you'll find something soon.

If you need any help with the Milwaukee area in general, just let me know!

If you're up for driving to Gurnee, we generally have a slot open.

(Probably a 45-minute drive; might be a little much, but if you're interested, let me know).

Hmmmm . . .

If you don't find a game and want to organize a new one, I would be interested in joining a monthly game.

I have a friend who would probably be interested also, so that would be 2.

On the west end of Franklin.

New game

A monthly game would be perfect for me and I'm very willing to DM (especially considering my investment in Scarred Lands setting books.) Why don't you email me at bkillackey@hotmail.com and we can discuss details. I'm now just three weeks away from moving into our home in Franklin.

Thanks for the Gurnee gaming offer. It's probably a bit further than I'd want to drive -- unless I really can't find any other people closer to our new home.

Milwaukee Area

Greetings all,

I'm in the southern Milwaukee area, along with a few friends, we do a FR realms campaign. But I'm always stuck DM'ing and never get to play dang it. I have no clue what the Scarred Lands or whatever are though.

I would be interested in playing though.

The Scarred Lands is Sword & Sorcery's (the folks that put out Creature Collection and Relics & Rituals) campaign setting. In a nutshell, it's 150 years after a big war between Gods and Titans. The landscape is still, well, scarred. There's titanspawn prowling the continent. Civilization is well on its way to getting back on its feet, but there are still plenty of struggles. The www.scarredlands.com website can give more detailed info.

I've liked the setting because it's full of surprises for players, has been well-supported by S&S and offers something unique from the core campaign settings (without being overly strange).

I'd love to continue DMing a Scarred Lands monthly or twice-a-month campaign after I move (t-minus two weeks and counting.) If you (or other Milwaukee area players reading this) are interested, email me at bkillackey@hotmail.com.
