D&D 5E D&D and More on The Big Bang Theory Tonight!

It was really cool seeing Garycon getting a mention. I was laughing so hard during the scene where Sheldon first brought it up that we had to pause the episode so I could explain to my wife what Garycon was.

No one knew it was coming. Apparently, according to Heidi, Elise was clearing out some Gary Con merch at some point and sent some along to Eric Kaplan, who was a writer on this episode but also was on staff for the Futurama episode where Gary was featured. She's sent him swag from time to time as a thank you for that earlier kindness in remembering her father, knowing he is also a lifelong gamer. That he would drop him into another show he was writing on was otherwise out of the blue.
