D&D art

First Post
I am dieing to find a piece of art from a D&D source book which depicts a plane touched (Ether a Tiefling, or a Aasmirr) on a ship holding a sword. I think it is from one of the races book. Please help me quell my thirst for picture!

It's not in the official art gallery, but I think you mean this illustration from Races of Destiny, page 92:

I never really thought that looked very much like an aasimar. Wayne Reynolds' artwork in the Monster Manual is a lot more spot-on if you ask me.

Maybe, or maybe not, but I wanted that picture for a homebrew campaign where all the races are different types of humans. There are quite a few races as well (about 7 depending on final cuts)

Oh, I didn't mean anything with it. The picture is nice and everything, but I just meant that it didn't exactly clearly point towards planetouched and in this case an aasimar.

I believe the caption will point to it being one of the two plane touched. I could not remember which one, but thought it was a Aasamir because there where no signs of mutations.

Anyway, I love this piece of art.

Max Maxim, I edited the caption out of that picture which explains that the aasimar is trying to conceal her celestial heritage with heavy clothing. That's why she's not really identifiable as planetouched.

I poured through RoD online web art a million times looking for that picture. You really made my day! Thanks!

The reason you're not finding it is because it was originally made for Frostburn (or was it Stormwrack?), and got moved over to RoD, hence the heavy clothing.
