RPG deveolpment outside of the US is blooming for years now, and mostly independant from 5e...It will be very interesting to see how this affects the development of RPGs internationally going forward. Let a thousand flowers bloom around the globe.

It being in the creative commons gave people the right to translate it to whatever languages they wished. Putting their own translations into CC-BY is great, but others could still have made other-language RPGs based on it regardless of WotC putting these out.Yes. But having to do the translation oneself is... in fact... extra work that may act a barrier. No doubt that's coming: better to release these piecemeal than to wait for every language that they may wish to support.Cries in portuguese
