I imagine we learn about Giants, the Phandelver campaign and Planescape. There will be some teasers about the VTT and new digital features coming. I imagine they will also release the next playtest packet and pimp that a bit. Finally they will have a tease of a surprise being unveiled at Gen-Con or some such about anniversary plans.
I do not think we will see any Greyhawk or Blackmoor products next year.

This had better not just be "here's some D&D Beyond dice with Chris Pine's face on them!"

I'm actually going to be offline most of Tuesday, which feels like WotC planned it that way ...
Hmmm, isn't Target's new product shelf day typically Tuesdays?

Are they going to stealth release a movie tie-in on the day of Direct?

Well it is hard to make a reference before the promotion begins!
In the past, they've giggled and patted themselves on the back about the clues they've put into these teases. But if only a tiny sliver of the audience could have seen the thing the clue is about, it feels a little tone deaf.

A more direct clue -- popcorn, the lute from the movie -- would be appropriate, though.

IDK, the potato seems pretty direct, on spud you might say, to me.

FWIW, having seen - and really liked - the movie, I recognize that the potatoes were in it but I still don't, like, care about them.
