For the last one, it took me a moment to realize that the object in the foreground of the art was actually a slain gold dragon. Quite a dark scene and I love it.
I missed that - thank you for pointing it out. I also like the 2nd image with the red dragon triumphantly perched on a toppled statue of Bahamut (w/ his canaries)

Probably the thing I'm least interested in of the things they discussed today.

To be honest, the short module anthologies have been some of the most consistent products WotC has been putting out.
This is in fact what makes this the most interesting thing they announced today to me; I have plenty of FR content from the last 10 years, don't really want more or anything new mechanically, and while Keep on the Borderlands and Caves of Chaos are two very cool adventures to see get facelifted, they're also very easy to convert and 5e conversions of them have existed since the D&D Next playtests.

But I can always use 10 more mini-adventures with some interesting backbone to them, though I'm skeptical that the statblocks this adventure may provide are going to be anything more exciting than "named dragon who is only slightly different from a regular dragon", or heaven forbid that the stats are 100% reprints from the new Monster Manual only a few months after it comes out.

Yeah, I really like them (for the most part). Candlekeep Mysteries is probably the most uneven, whereas I reckon Keys from the Golden Vault is the best. But there are now enough of them that you can string together a nice lengthy episodic campaign with a variety of adventures.

I am currently running Golden Vault in Eberron with a bunch of other stuff mixed in for one of my groups. For the other, we're just finishing up Mad Mage, and then we're going to play through Witchlight, but after that, I think I will run an episodic campaign that is a mix of many of the 5e anthology adventures.

I heard good things about that and bought it when I needed to come up with a short adventure with 30 minutes to spare. The first adventure, with the animated furniture, is good!

The others are ... not quite as good.

But the anthology idea, overall, is a good one. There just needs to be a lot more quality control over the multiple creators WotC brings into its projects, which is an issue in their big mega adventures written by multiple contributors as well.
