d&d EDUCATION

These ideas are great. Now if I can just remember/implement them when my kids are old enough...

Pat, do you have a website showing how you did this?

(Pat owns both of my favorite FLGS's)

The stores are at www.gnomegames.com, I think he has a "Games in Education" link on the homepage, but I don't recall for certain.

Otherwise, email him (the address is on the homepage, IIRC), he doesn't mind talking about it AFAIK, we've discussed it more than once.

Don.

I have a friend, he's got a masters in business administration, and he doesn't like to read. Maybe I could use something like this with him.

Well right now it's pretty basic. Since I'm trying it at a 3rd to 4th grade level I don't have to get overly complicated.
Hmmm...sounds like it's *definitely* too much for an MBA to handle, then. RW will most likely have to resort to simple grunts and pointing to teach his friend. :)

Some cool ideas here, Tarangil. I have introduced D&D to my sons, and am aware of the educational benefits, but I had not thought about ways to get the most out of that aspect.

Dr. Awkward, thanks for the link to the yahoo group. I have signed up there and will look into what they have to offer.
