The play test was not good for out of combat stuff. But then again, its not like any of us minded. The sembia one seemed to have more.
Of course, this is D&D we are talking about, its not like the rules ever gave a ton of support to out of combat activities. From what I know, we will see as much in 4E as 3E (which is a lot more then past editions).
