D&D II Wrath of the Dragon God

Voadam

Legend
Just saw this last night after getting it through netflix.

I liked the rogue Nym a lot. And the tiny scene with the drow.

Got lost with the black dracolich versus the sleeping collosal which I thought was alive but I guess was the dead one and the random white dragon.

It wasn't until the extras when I found out Damodar's henchman was a half-orc, I was wondering what new monster he was.

Didn't really like the almost lisping wizardess wife or the explanations of different magics or the plot of Obad Hai Turanian magic.

I did like the Juiblex references.

When it first showed on SciFi, my gaming grouped watched instead of gaming. We enjoyed it. Of coursed, I liked the 1st one to. :)

I found that movie to be enjoyable and considerably better than the first. Not great, but alright.

What she said.

Now all we need is D&D 3, "Gygax's Angels", teaming up Lux the Barbarian, Ormaline the Elf Wizard and Marina, the Wizard from D&D 1.

Hubba-hubba!

While I felt the sequel was better than the original in almost every way, I also found I enjoyed it a whole lot less than the original. It struck me as just being bland.

With the first one, it was so horrifically bad that I stopped paying attention to anything except for the cute wizardess about halfway through.

The second wasn't bad, but was definitely a B-grade movie. I could, however, keep watching it. In that, it was much better than the first.

I watched the second movie with my gaming group. We all felt that it was a much better movie then the first. I liked all the 1e references it made.
