D&D Miniatures: Complete Archfiends Set list and Gallery!

Great scoop, Merric!

My only disappointment is that there are (IMO) far too many of the Player's Handbook races figures in this set. I was hoping for more monsters and less PC-standard races. A few would have been fine, but not this many.

Still, the fiends and monsters that *are* in this set look great.

I like the look of this set, but I was hoping for more monsters and less PC types. And the FR overload is a bit wierd, but at least most of them are generic enough. The dalelands militia look cool!

But you know that I'll get 10 Drizzts and no bone devils...

Bah

This should be called the Forgotten Realms expansion. I see, what, three actual archfiends (four, if you count Llolth)? Besides that, what do we have for fiends? A vrock, an erinyes...not much else.

This expansion disappoints me. There are some fine minis in it, but I was hoping for, you know, an expansion full of fiends.

I just hope that I'll be able to get some of this set; so far, a total of 16 boosters of Dragoneye have been available for sale in Ballarat - I picked up 4 of them, and I haven't seen another Dragoneye booster since... and that was before Christmas!

About the only FR figures that I don't consider generic are the Champion of Eilastree and Drizzt, Drow Ranger - everything else could easily be slotted into my Greyhawk game.

The Aspect of Bane would make a fine giant in RPG play.

Cheers!

Event he Drizzt I think would be ok... if you needed a drow ranger. If I put that mini down ont he table none of my players would say 'ah, drizzt'. They'd say, 'oh, is that a drow'. Only one of them would have actually heard of drizzt anyway.

True enough - I just think that it's enough non-standard Drowish to give me problems. :)

I'm really looking forward to picking up the Cleric of Lathander, because I think the miniature looks great!

I'm rather happy though, because I've just picked up my 3rd Ogre, it goes with my 2 trolls, 2 minotaurs and 8 gnolls.

Cheers!

MerricB,
Is the place your gettings minis at not able to keep them in stock or not getting them at all. I just finished my Harbinger set with an order for some individuals from RPGShop and have only bought 5 Dragoneye Boosters.

Now that I am ready to really start getting this set I dont wont to find out that I can't get them. Anyone else having a hard time finding/getting Dragoneye sets ?

In my case, it's my FLGS not being able to get them at all. I am uncertain as to what the situation is in other parts of the world.

Cheers!

That seems to be the case in my neck of the woods as well in terms of Dragonseye. I am not having any problems getting Harbinger, but no one can seem to get Dragoneye in locally. The local gaming store says that they won't have that trouble with Archfiends.

That's cool about your gnoll situation. I have 3, and for the rest I think I am going to have to resort to werewolves with some sort of makeshift club that I'll construct out of modelling clay or Sculpey or something. Not perfect, I know, but better than nothing.

I've just heard from my FLGS that they'll be getting in 16 boosters of Dragoneye tomorrow...

Cheers!
