I recall a website I found through a thread once that was a place where you could buy a case of d&d minis and you were garunteed the entire set. Does anyone know what I'm talking about, and if so do you have a url you can send this way?

You can, of course, buy the entire set from some online retailers, such as frpgames.com.

It could have possibly been something like a d&D mini buyers club. The set, IIRC, came re-sealed so you still got the pleasure of opening the boosters to see what you got. Only difference was you were garunteed a complete set.

No. You misunderstood. The miniatures are still "sealed" - in the sense they all remain in the plastic baggies that each comes in initially. They were not "sealed" in the sense of being able to open the booster boxes themselves.

The boxes were necessarily opened in order for the minis to be accurately sorted and divvied up.

The strength of the Buyer's club over buying a complete set from a retailer is that in addition to the complete set, you also get all the extra commons and uncommons that come in the boxes along with your 24 rares.

The reuslt is that you get 132 extra miniatures equally apportioned between each common and uncommon. The value in use to having these extras to call upon and use in your games should be obvious.

I looked at MerricB's site and couldn't find the buyers club. And you have to admit, it would be cool if the miniatures were placed back in boosters and then resealed with hot glue. ;)
