I think the session went fine. I found Mike brought some color with his RPing and think he is truly an instigator type :P I also like the Q&A session at the end, we learned a few stuff about Mage Traditions & Spellcasting as well as the Bard coming next packet!

I definitly want to see more of the Trait/Bond/Flaw in play. It look like a nice way to further connect PCs trait to adventures or campaign's elements.

Looking forward to Part 2!

Was good to see some questions come up and see some issues:

1. Concentration spells always seem to cause some confusion (is or isn't a spell a concentration spell)
2. Flaws look like they can cause real tension with other players and the story if bonds aren't strong enough. This really new to be play tested, and I like the idea.
3. Mearls seems a blast to play with

Can anyone summarize any goodies that were spilled for those of us too lazy to watch 2 hours of another group playing (or at least point out where the Q&As are)?

Thanks.

Mostly showing the trait/bonds roleplaying mechanic. They discuss it a little at the end in Q&A. Important NPC gets triggers that potentially change his disposition from indifferent to favorable or unfavorable depending on what PC says/does (and Charisma roll). When players don't touch on triggers, a good or bad charisma roll may not do anything for or against the situation.

I think that's how Rodney described it. I paraphrased.

Plus, Rodney emailed each player a motivation and personality trait that were to be used to help each player roleplay. The rogue player liked to stir up trouble and push people to the edge. The cleric was very honest and wanted to maintain decorum/respectful relations with the NPC who he had worked for in the past. I think Mearls' fighter like to kill and was a greedy dwarf with low charisma. Not sure about the wizard.

No, how unlikely - aren't they all? If you had said that the dwarf was highborn, a gentleman, and could handle dealing with the rough streets as likely as the queen's court I would have been very surprised.
