Sorry. I hate marketing. Too based on manipulation and deception.

So, hate all you like - that doesn't change that effort must be made to make people aware of products, and that effort needs to be efficient and effective, or selling products would not be economically viable.

For example, A5E (just for example) would not exist if Morrus didn't do marketing around it.

That your species is vulnerable to manipulation and deception, well, take that up with evolution.

Or maybe a little more effort can be put in to be honest and straight-forward about what you're selling? Let it stand on it's own merits? That's my issue with most marketers.

The problem is that the current tactics seem to be effective. Unless and until the audience responds as well or better to honest and straightforward approaches to selling, you are asking sellers to unilaterally choose to leave money on the table.

You will see the behavior you want when it is good business for them to behave that way.

Or unless consumer protection laws toughen up.
