Telling someone why you think they are wrong when they can't reply on the matter is basically congratulating yourself. I mean good job Hriston, you told they guy who can't respond just how it is!

If you view me as intolerant and then are intolerant of me I will start viewing you as intolerant and will be intolerant of you. Regardless of who started it, what you are advocating will become a vicious circle of intolerance where your intolerance of me fuels my intolerance of you and my intolerance of you fuels your intolerance of me. So what you propose is a path to total intolerance on both sides.

Tolerance is reciprocal. You have to give it to receive it.

Same as freedom. You have to give freedom to receive freedom.

For example. If a mugger refuses to give others freedom (by mugging them), then the mugger's freedom must be removed (by prison).

Except that's not what you are advocating. It's more like you are advocating we go out and start mugging the muggers because those who practice mugging deserve to be mugged.

To be honest, I could see the direction this thread would take as soon as I read the first post.

On the other hand, I was a bit surprised that the entirety of the "gay people existing is against my politics" side was just one person. That's progress!

I should of been more specific. I don't own CoS. I guess gay vampires are the thing. If I felt like arguing I would probably go on about vampires being asexual. Its just a guess.

Revenant Lord Vladimir Horngaard and the revenant Godfrey Gwilym, deadly adversaries in Curse of Strahd, are also explicitly gay.

Are people unable to have private discussions through PMs?

The last I was aware, as long as you aren't using PMs to harass someone, you can have discussions with another poster through PMs that would generally not be permissible under the rules of the larger forums.
