Wow. Not only are the half-breeds getting the most votes, the margin is huge. Both of them have twice the votes of the next closest. Whichever one "wins" this round, we might as well just eliminate both of them and save a step. :)

Unless I hear enough objections, if the two halfbreeds are within 4% of each other, and there is at least a 10% margin between them and the next lowest I will kill them both.

ive seen many of every race played at my table, except for gnomes and half-elves. i have been the only gnome, and ive only seen 2 half elves, none of which survived to see 2nd level.

my vote is for Half Elves.
and i love half-orcs. how can you not have an inherently evil counterpart to elves in any campaign? <3

Half Elves
A hugely popular choice in previous editions. The only one I've seen so far in 3e has been a half drow. It's simply not worth it anymore with better choices available at the same cost.

Half-Elves used to be generaly more powerful than humans (Especialy if people ignored the level maximums). Humans were almost never seen in 2E and below from what I saw.

Eberron gave Half-Elves some interesting backstory and their own society (Which fits well given the other diluted breeds). It's made them easier to play, but still is hard. They need something to differentiate them from humans or elves, otherwise you're usually better off being one or the other.
