In my experience, humans are not overplayed... elves are. There are all these unhygenic people that are obssessed with tolkien and think they can speak elvish. Then there are these people that think they are drow in real life...

Elves should all be eaten by 'icky' monsters. Thank you MUNCHKIN

Yeah, and good riddance. Diaglo was totally right about elves deserving all the hat they get.The travesty that was the Complete Elf Handbook or whatever it was called doomed them forever.

Not to mention the seemingly mandatory snottiness. That kind of crap can only be cured with broken glass, rusty nails, and iodine.

Don't get me wrong: no love for dwarves here. If not for RL rudely butting in, I'da voted for elves every round.

To those who think dwarves are the new elves, the asymetry of power with dwarves in this edition don't even come close to the cheese of elves in the Complete Book of Elves.

BTW, any predictions on Humans vs. Dwarves next round? I am wondering just how strong the dwarf-hate lobby is...

Dwarves got a lot of votes, much more than humans. IIRC, it was that way in earlier rounds, too, and with all the other races that got voted out. So I think that it will hold true now, too.

Also, I’ve been a dwarf fan since the 80’s and not for any reason listed above. I don’t particularly care for power gaming so, I don’t care how they “stack up” to the other races. I just enjoy playing them.
