How can you say something like that? from what pulpit, I'm trying to take credit for our work done, what should I do? publish name surname date of birth and place of residence of every person who is working on the project? if you don't want to support us you are free to do so, but you can't allow yourself to discredit our long and hard work by saying that it's AI garbage without even having viewed the material.Nobody is credited for the work here, it is a fly by night AI dump.
Yes, 100% this is what you should do. Evidence of the work in process would be appropriate.what should I do? publish name surname date...of every person who is working on the project?
Who is "our"? Names, please.you can't allow yourself to discredit our long and hard work
I think it’s pretty clear this is very suspect to say the least …
Who is "we", kimosabe?We've...Our...we’ve been working on it for a long time...we’re open to them—we’re not marketing experts. We’re just trying to contribute to the community, asking only a modest fee compared to the hard work behind this. We even offer a satisfaction guarantee or your money back.
Thanks for your suggestion Reef, I'm not saying that I did all the work alone, I've always spoken in the plural and said that I did this project with other friends and dm experts etc. none of us are interested in "fame" that's why we decided not to put names and surnames on the site. if you suggest that to reassure people we should put the name and surname of the people who worked on it we will certainly do it. we didn't think people would be so skeptical or doubtful about something like that.Crediting the artists who worked on your project would be a normal expectation, I would imagine. And would go a long way to reassuring people. The fact you aren't crediting the artists specifically would be a warning sign for me, regardless of the existence of AI.
You see, more red flags. If you were all "passionate ttrpg" players then you would know that talking about what a scam AI art is (cheating artists by scanning their work to teach the algorithm) then you would know what a HUGE hot button issue this is across the vast majority of ttrpg podcasts, ttrpg discord channels and ttrpg message boards on this one. Pretty much 99.9% of all people who work in the TTRPG industry are ideologically opposed to using generative AI for projects. Rarely a day goes by without someone bringing up some new way it's snaking into our lives and our work. Thanks for this suggestion it will surely be added to the FAQ.
We didn't do it because it's not actually a question that I get asked often
