Not as fun as when I offered to help my friend Hamid sue his employers for violating the Open Gaming License. Hamid wrote a card for the commercial break of Inuyasha, giving the stats of Tetsaiga (though he made the mistake that the falchion form is sized for a large creature, and that Inuyasha's demon blood lets him wield it even though he's only medium).

Hamid, though, apparently wanted to keep his job, and so we decided against bringing legal action forward. I do think, though, that it'd be hilarious if one time they just presented full d20 stats for a character on one of the shows, and then filled the screen with the d20 license. I'll have to propose that idea.

I heard about that, prolly on this site. I wish I had seen it live! Those cards kill me. At first I kind of missed the goofy pics of community swimming pools--and I still miss that groovy music they played--but the cards make up for it.

I can't get enough of Adult Swim. They provide a final resting place for Futurama and Family Guy and continue to send beer-n-pot money to Williams Street for Sealab 2021 and Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

"Sniff you jerks later."

I remember the Tetsusaiga card as well as one speculaing that Bender's chest was like a futuristic bag of holding. If you know what that means, you need help.

Did anyone else think it was weird that, in a room full of D&D players, no one complained about an attempt to seduce a most likely mindless creature?

Must... resist... sexist... joke...

Heh. The only real answer to that is whether you'd rather insult make proclivities or play off "dumb blonde" stereotypes. :p

Hey, RangerWickett, could you post those stats here, if you remember them? I have a player who's been pestering me for months on end to stat up Tetsusaiga...

I laughed myself sick when I saw this episode -- I'm a Venture Brother
fanatic and then when I saw this!

"What the heck is a Leslie-Golem?"

"It's a golem that looks like Leslie Cohen!"

Baron Underbheit had all the best lines -- one of my favorites:
White: "What would you want with a robot that looks like Leslie Cohen?"
BU: "Izn't it obviouz -- he vants to haf seks vit it - he had a cruz
on her ven ve were in kohl-lege"

Well, to be fair, Tetsaiga's a silly weapon. I mean, a katana does d10 damage, 19-20/x2, and a falchion does 2d4, 18-20/x2.

Of course, a large falchion does 2d6, 18-20/x2. And Tetsaiga's probably a +5 weapon. *shrugs*
