Glad to be back :D
[sblock=For Monkey]
Since his encounter with the Shadow Knight and his discovery that the dagger is once again lost (And that the evil within has won), William has become withdrawn. He set off to the orc lands to cleanse his taint, but never made it there. Instead, the knight ended up wandering, seemingly aimlessly as he scoured his soul for clues of what he should do next. As chance - or perhaps fate - would have it, he happened to pass by the city, entering himself in the tournament, filled by a need to prove his abilities.

the Shadow Knight spoke directly to William, telling him that any further intervention would result in his own destruction.
BTW, does this quote mean the shadow knights destruction or William's destruction? I got a bit confused..

BTW, I found my copy of William's sheet. Tell me what needs to be changed(He's a bit light on gear ATM, i think)

Background

Sir William Windwalker is destined to become a special knight, trained in
the ways of the shadow. The Knights of Shadow are an order of holy men who
dedicate their lives to keeping Good people as
seperated from the true darkness of the world as possible. They do this by
placing their own souls and bodies between the innocents and the evil. As
the Shadow stands between light and darkness, so do the
Knights of Shadow.

William has dedicated his life to the eradication of "Evil" after witnessing
many atrocities of war. He has natural Military talents and great Dedication
to become a powerful foe to the enemy... Unknown to him,
he is being watched by the Knights, and someday soon will be enlisted into
the secretive Knights of Shadow.

Personality

Sir Windwalker (William to his peers) is steadfastly dedicated to Good,
whether it be through Acts of kindness, Eradication of Evil, or whatever. He
is a firm believer in 'doing the right thing', even when it's
not always the smart thing. (Though that does not, as some have wrongly
guessed, stem from a lack of intelligence, merely a belief that if it's the
right thing to do, it's probably worth it).

William is not your standard 'stick up the rear' Holy Warrior, and is
dedicated to the Spirit of law and Goodness rather than the specific
innuendo's of it. As a Shadow Knight, he believes in the greater good,
though not to the point of overwriting individual freedoms. There is a very
fine line that must be walked between doing what you think is right for
everyone, and taking away their freedom to decide that
themselves.

The Knights of Shadow believe that by placing themselves closer to the
darkness, they keep everyone else safer, and they do the things that the
really good people shouldn't have to. Sometimes, if the knight is
not pure enough, this can lead to a degradation of character, and some
knights have been known to cross too far into the shadows, loosing
themselves. It's tough to maintain your righteousness when you're
constantly in contact with such vileness, but William's true heart will
shine through.

Brilliant! I'm excited now. Welcome back Jemal, welcome back Shadowmask. This will be interesting, mixing the old with the new (most of whom have far from warmed up to Estelle, I don't know why though, she has a high Charisma...).

Oh, this isn't meant to suggest I wasn't excited earlier.

[sblock=For Jemal]It was meant to refer to the Shadow Knight's destruction. It'll work better for the overall plot if William arrives back in the city now, just a little too late to sign up for the tournaments. If you really want William in the tournaments, we'll need to figure out why he hasn't run into the others, or sought them out. He'll also be unable to compete in the Archery contest as we're almost done with it in game.

You'll also want to consider whether William's faith has been shaken or strengthened and how that has affected his personality.[/sblock]

As for being light on gear, everyone is for the most part. Once William gets back into the city, he'll be able to collect his portion of the reward for the Silvergard mission (1,000 gp).

Ah, new I shoulda read more of the IC stuff. didn't realize you were so far into the tourney allready. That's fine, I guess he'll have just arrived in town. Maybe somebody spots him as he's heading too/from gathering his reward?

[sblock=For Jemal]Alrighty, here's a little plot bit to nibble on...

On his way west, William came across a merchant caravan that had lost almost everything in a raid. They mentioned taking on a couple of travelers who turned out to be traitorous, revealing the caravan's location to the raiders. One has a dark eyed half-elf who seemed unnatural in some way, named Silevran. The other was a human woman...named Estelle. Further, one of the merchants overheard the pair discussing an assassination they were planning during the tournament against Lady Nineveh d'Anovia.[/sblock]

Renaldo tried to warm up to her, she just disappeared from the captain as if she didn't know him is all. not to mention she dis him to whisper in another man's ear!
