A new Dungeons & Dragons guidebook is coming out later this year. DK Books has announced The Book of Dragons, a new guidebook featuring the dragons of D&D. The new book is written by Michael Witwer and will be released in August 2025. The 224-page book isn't a rulebook but rather a licensed book that focuses on the lore of dragons. The book is written at least partially from the perspectives of Tiamat and Bahamut.

These books were immensely helpful when running Star Wars. My sources were mostly DK books.

My daughter's going to love this. If you have someone wanting to expand alchemy this book would be helpful.

This comes out in a few weeks, why are there no youtube previews, leaf-throughs, anything?
I don't believe that DK Books has ever published video previews of their licensed D&D titles, but there are ten 2-page spreads (9% of the book) previewed on the product page if you are trying to get more of a sense of the content. Three of those spreads are the ones appearing in the ENWorld article above.

I seen those like back in May, but usually when a new book comes out, they send out preview copies to guys like Nerdimmersion and others who spend long videos on going through these things. Even the Drizzt book had such previews and that was not a sourcebook either.
