OOG: Who is opening it?

Gardner looks at the chest and shakes his head, "This is my job, but I'm not strong enough to try to open it." Gesturing towards the owners of the house he says, " Just being around this could be dangerous. You should join me downstairs while they open it."

OOC: He'll wait for the couple to leave before heading out, but if they won't leave will go downstairs to safety before the chest is opened.

ao'Thuir will break the chest open with his greatsword.

"ao'Thuir, you sure you want to open that chest, and how bad are your wounds? I might heal you. Russna have allowed me more gift today, she feels it might be needed, so take a moment to think." tells teh goblin to the elf.

Ridik turn to Gardener "Just wait in Grandma bedroom, you don't need to ruch down there."

"Ah I'm alright, if I fall down you can heal me then." replies ao'Thuir.

Lucien stays in the room with ao'Thuir and the chest. He wants a front row seat for whatever's about to happen.

After Rinya comes in the room Gardner says, "What do you think about Slim? After we look at the chest we should give him a visit."

"Tempting...however, you and I aren't really in condition to be doing that. We'll need some of Russna's blessings first. Besides, I'm hoping that chest gives us what we need to find this damned manor. I'm all for moving out at the earliest opportunity if that's the case. I've spent too much time in the city. I fear it's making me...stroppy," Rinya replies, with what may or may not be a brief grin.

"oh.. I don't know. I'm feeling a lot better now that we have a direction to go in. I don't feel quite as good about the chest. We might have to roust Slim to find your friend in the hat. Then you can get as stroppy as you want", the young investigator says with a smile, obviously perking up.
