Why is Osseum Entertainment releasing Green Ronin's products?

DRAGONSTAR ESSENTIAL COLLECTION
This essential collection includes one copy each of the following Dragonstar d20 sourcebooks: Starfarer's Handbook, Guide to the Galaxy, Imperial Supply, Player's Companion, and Smuggler's Run.

What format will these be in? Recieving 5 books for $30 seems pretty amazing, but it also seems unlikely. Also, any idea if they're updated to 3.5?

FFG did a Blue Planet essential collection a while back - it was just the Blue Planet sourcebooks in a plastic wrapper. It's clearing stock out of the warehouse and giving people a good deal on old sourcebooks.

After checking with FFG, here's the info they sent me on the Essential Collection: The DS Essential Collection will contain:

* Starfarer's Handbook (hc, 176pp.)
* Guide to the Galaxy (hc, 176pp.)
* Imperial Supply (sc, 124pp.)
* Player's Companion (sc, 124 pp.)
* Smuggler's Run (sc, 64pp.)

It will sell for $39.95. The books will be the same you can buy now (so yes, it is a considerably better deal to buy the package), and they won't be updated to 3.5.
