Hey all, I am deciding to start my first d20 Future game. It will be pretty unique, still working on some of the rules but here is the game background for anyone interested:
The Templars
The year is 7648 S.C.(Second Coming). 7648 years ago, the world came to an end when the Second Coming occured, ripping the world into annihilation. A violent war erupted between the forces of Heaven and Hell, destroying all man had created. Every man, woman and child on the planet died during this time, bringing an end to civilization on Earth.
But there were some who refused to have Humanity brought to extinction. While the war was still in its youth, a group of 798 people boarded a massive Space Shuttle and ascended into the stars, where they used the world's only Warp Gate to travel 10,000 Lightyears from Earth, escaping death. They found a new world, much like Earth, that they named Chymera. They populated the planet, and with an extensive database recovered from the Library of Athens before departure, they spent the next Millennium rebuilding civilization.
Population rose, from 800 to 1500, to 7000, to 50,000, eventually reaching 2,348,000 by the year 1,000 S.C. In 1,000 years, they had reached a stage of Technology equal to what they left behind on Earth.
But technolgy did not stop there, and they eventually took to the Stars, searching nearby Moons and Asteroids for knowledge. Many great discoveries were found, but most intriguing were signs on Technology on the Asteroids, possibly some kind of unknown Lifeforms.
In the year 1,346 S.C., the commander of the Chymera United Army General Nokion staged a coup against the leading world authority, the United Federation of Chymera. He took the planet for his own, and created a new power, the Nokion Empire. He greatly increased his power, through military and economic might, and forced all other nations to bow before his Banner.
After conquering Chymera, he resumed his Space Exploration projects, and 4 years later, August 11, 1350, on the day known as the Day of Revalation, they uncovered an Ancient Space Platform inside a cloaked Nebula, which had perfectly preserved technology from an Ancient Race known as the Mastax. Their technology was beyond anything ever seen before, Particle Hyper Accelerators capable of sending a concentrated energy beam millions of lightyears, Faster-Than-Light travel, Cloning, things never even dreamed of before. He took dominance over all of these technological marvels, and utilized them to meet his ends.
Seveal Top Secret projects would be created in the Generations that followed, Emperor Nokion VI would be the first to utilize the Hyper-Speed technology, which led to the conquering of the first foreign planets in the Empire, and gave birth to a Poly Global Empire. Nokion XIX, also known as The Annihilator, would finish the research on the highly dangerous Tri-Light Particle Hyper-Accelerator, also known as, “The Redeemer”, a weapon with the power to vaporize a star in a single blast.
The most dangerous of these projects however, started in the year 1794 S.C., would not be finished until the year 6973 S.C. Known through the highest echelons of the Empire as the Orion Project, 5,000 years into the making was the perfection of Cloning and Gene-Technology. The IGTB(Imperial Geno-Technological Bureau) gave birth to a being known as a “Deathmasta”. An infant child was captured at birth, and bred in a Bio Tube for 30 years, altering every aspect of it. From DNA structure to organ size and efficency, all aspects of Humanity were erased, to create a being superior to anything thrown at it. Twice the size of an average human(Most averaged 10”), the ability to smash down a Skyscraper with one blow, a strength to carry a Nuclear Platform, and Psionic Abilities that could crush the mind of a group of opponents, they were fierce creations, Emotionless, ruthless, void of any feeling what-so-ever. All they knew was death and loyalty to the Emperor.
But nothing that ruthless could be controlled forever. On the eve of the 7th Millennium, December 31, 6999, the distant planet Gamorka, a small mining colony, revolted and tried to secede from the Empire. A unit of 5 Deathmastas were dispactched, to teach a brutal lesson to anyone who dared test the might of the Emperor. But they did far more than Emperor Valkaryon intended, and they killed 62,000,000 innocent civilians, where they were ordered simply to annihilate the Rebel Stronghold. The Deathmasta Project was terminated, but unfortunately, they were made Immortal, and could not be killed. The Emperor used a technology deemed forbidden thousands of years ago by his ancestor, Nokion XXXXIV, Time Manipulation, and put the 14 Deathmastas in existence into Permenent Time Freeze.
Now, 649 years later, it is the rule of Emperor Kanamarta. A fair ruler, he has tried to improve conditions all over the Empire. But many of the Top Generals see him weak, and are planning something unknown to anyone but them. The Emperor knows this, but cannot prosecute them without proof. The IIA(Imperial Intelligence Agency) has contacted it’s Top Secret division, NanoOps, to send 4, highly trained Agents into the field to try and root out information about what is happening, before it is too late.

Ultra Hyperspeed Technology: Alien Propulsion Technology allows the ability to travel enormous speeds, up to recorded speeds of 7,000 Times the Speed of Light.
Advanced Geno-Biology: New Medical Technology allows altering to the Genetic code to enhance specific traits, such as Physical Strength, hearing, vision, Nimbleness, Intelligence.
Cloning Technology at a Very Advanced State: Across the Nokion Empire, a Data Network known as "LifeNet", stores Genetic Blueprints of every recorded Being in the Empire. Upon Death, a person can be cloned at one of hundreds of thousands of small cloning platforms known as "Ressurection Pods".
Time Travel Technology: Of all technologies in the Empire, none is guarded and kept secret as rididly at Time Travel. People know it exists, but less than 500 in the Empire know how to use it, where, when, and with what tools. Those who do know have Ultra Restricted access to it's Forbidden Uses, as the Royalty fears a vengeful Rebel could go back in time and kill General Nokion at birth, preventing the creation of the Empire.
Antimatter Weapons: Highly Illegal, and Only Issued to the most Elite Military Units, Antimatter weapons use an Alien Technology to actually destroy matter. While deemed impossible by the Law of Conservation of Energy, the Mastax seemingly found many ways to break the Laws of Physics.
Time Freeze: the Ability to Stop Time in Highly Controlled Areas using sophisticated Technology. Used as the most severe punishment, worse than death or Banishment, a person is aware of his surroundings, constantly able to think, but unable to move, speak, breathe, nothing, for all eternity. While a person can be taken out of Time Freeze, only the Emperor Himself can grant access.
Daichotomous Drive- A new experimental technology still in it's infancy, it allows the Folding of Space. By accelerating matter in various directions at high speed, the plane of space can actually be "folded" to shorten a distance between two places by billions of lightyears. Critical for fast action troop deployments and further reach into the unknown.
On the Geno-Biology topic, a PC can use the technology to increase an Attribute, but inflict damage to two others in the process, 1 is always Constitution, for the physical burden it bears on the body, and the other is directing by the table below. For example, a PC with stats 16,12.11,15,and 18 could decide to Raise Strength by two, but in the process would lower Dexterity and Constitutionby two. Constitution is the exception, If you increase Con, it lowers INT, DEX, and STR, because increasing the Life of a person drags ENORMOUS physical and Mental ability. The table is as Follows:
