Mutation, Biotechnology, Cellular Transformation Effects (minor and major modifications), Nanotechnology, Cybernetic, Psionics.
There is an appendix with 4 new core classes that you can use if you only have the D&D 3.5 rules. ....Esper (I think you know what those are), ... Anyway, how's that? Enough info?
Gallo22 said:5th Edition was the Alternity version. Not very well liked by most long time Gamma World 'ers. They changed the world from being destroyed by nukes to being taken over by aliens.
I'm an old Gamma World 'er (as I've stated before) and thought in was ok/good but it was different from earlier versions in the way of "feel". I like more of a "hokey-serious" feel myself, kind of Thundarr the Barbarian style.

Baraendur said:Like I said before, a lot of the humor has been removed from this edition. I don't have a problem with that. In fact, the humor of previous editions used to somewhat turn me off to it. You still do have hoops, so humorous elements are not completely gone. This one is also much more tech heavy, which is a departure from previous editions, which tried to bring technology closer to the stone age. I guess the bottom line is that you shouldn't look for a faithful interpretation of previous editions. What we get though, is an excellent re-invention, and I am personally very happy with it.
