[D20 Modern] Anyone using it for a not-so Modern game?

I'm using it, now that I have the book, to write up a conversion of my old pulp fantasy setting, The Splendour Falls, inspired by equal parts of Poul Anderson's Operation Chaos, Heinlein's
Magic, Inc., and the old Bloodshadows game. Here's the blurb for the now-defunct PBEM:

In 1898, Marie and Pierre Curie had a lab accident. All the iron and steel in the world stopped blocking the use of magic, as it had for so long. The world changed forever. It's over 30 years later, and Magic and technology are working hand in hand. Faeries, Werebeasts, and the undead are all real, and some of them are even citizens. Faerie gold is leading the way in new
scientific advances. Yet the more things change, the more they stay the same. The Emperor of the New German Reich, a reborn Frederick Barbarossa, and his allies in the Rasputin dominated Romanov dynasty, are making plans to split the world between them using their vast armies and magically powered war robots.
And the only thing standing in their way is you.
