d20 Modern Parallel Universe Idea

I just want to put up this quick disclaimer. Any similarity to events factual or fictional is purely coincidental. While the author admits to being influenced by countless sources available on the subject, the idea above was created out of what the author believes to be an original idea. The author also admits to plagerizing the hell out of anything relating to this topic.:D

Hell, don't worry about it. Nearly everybody borrows ideas from one place or another. And as for springing it on your group, go for it. Tell them you want to 'test drive' the Modern book and you have this great campaign planned

Kenpo, I think I will. I did this with d20 Call of Cthulu. I had them play themselves and it went over fine but the feedback I got was that they would rather play D&D. Hopefully this idea will produce better results.

By the way, Dungeon/Polyhedran gave me my ace in the whole this issue. Poly has a mini-WWII d20 game. It looks perfect for what I need. I haven't read through it all yet but it sure has me excited.

EDIT: I read a little closer and the WWII game is not for d20 Modern but more akin to d20 CoC. Actually, the intro refered to it as a classless D&D in WWII. This is fine but not what I am looking for. Some of the info was good, like the weapons data, and I will use it.

I had an idea for something not too terribly different here a few months ago. Well, I mean it is different, but it's an alternate history fighting against Nazis with aliens, psychics and other "X-Files" stuff thrown in.

Joshua, thanks for poking your head in and giving my little idea a looksy. I am impressed with what you put together. I like the idea of multiple super powers. Putting Nazis in an X-files enviornment is a scary thought.

I am afraid mine is still lacking detail, It was originally just a quick idea for a couple of games but the more I thought about it the more I wanted flesh it out.

I would appreciate any input as my knowledge of WW II is limited.

Wayne, thanks for the links. I will check them out. I have always kept one eye on GURPS until recently with so many 3rd party games supporting d20. I will, however, need to take a look. Thanks again.

Yes I am bumping my own thread. In light of what Joshua Dyal has done for creating interest in these types of alternate histories, I was hoping to get even more feedback on my own idea.
