D20 Modern Supers

First Post
I am curently looking for a good D20 Modern Supers game.
--
I know of 2 so far, Blood and Vigaliance and Comic book heros, both of which are for sale at RPGnow.com.

If anyone has played them can you sell me on which one drops the easiest into an ongoing Modern game.

Thanks

Blood and Vigilance is extremely good for extending d20 Modern into supers. I've used it and it was extremely well done and easy to work with, a superior value for the money. Our group loves it and adapted to it very quickly, it does supers quite well and fits nearly seamlessly into d20 Modern IMO.

There have been several other threads discussing this on ENWorld, and I've also done a Story Hour for our d20 Modern supers game which has some discussion of the system in it, check my sig ("We were like gods once...") if you are interested.

Yup. Blood and Vigilance, all the way, baby.
There's even a thread where Ledded and myself have posted some of our extra powers/feats/gadgets ...

Speaking of gadgets for BNV ...

:)

Er, where's your thread'o'powers?

Working up a power/combination of powers for a dryad-themed super.

And, just to stay on topic: I don't have "Comic Book Heroes" myself, so I can't say anything about it, but I do have Blood and Vigilance and I can vote for it as an extremely quick and easy way to do supers.

Dryad-themed super? Oh man, there is a perfect example to yoink for inspiration from the PC game Freedom Force :). It would be fairly simple to make up a few new powers that go along those lines (which is one thing I like a lot about BnV, the system is elegant enough to handle it well without being too complex). There are several good choices for that theme already in the book though.

We're about to do another short run of "We were like gods once..." so if I come up with anything inspiring I'll post it up in that thread or start a new one.

Yeah, what Ryan said.

Four-Color to Fantasy is an all-encompassing toolkit that was designed for modern supers role-playing, but also works great for making any FX-based characters (and a lot of non-FX-based characters).

I wonder if you should put that book into the d20 modern catagory. Then customers will see the 3+ options for d20 modern supers.

Maybe it's just me, but if I was looking for a d20 modern supers addon, I would check the d20 modern catagory first. :)
