d20 MSRD [COMPLETE] WEBSITE

Fusion,

No one is trying to be argumentative, we are just trying to make sure you are legal and stay out of trouble. your site is good, we don't want to see it shut down because a stupid sentence or two is missing out of your OGL statement. No one is being critical or complaining, every poster just wanted you to have the OGL correct to keep YOU out of trouble and your website up and runing.

Being defenisve about that kind of help is strange to me.
I here you Treebore. At first it seemed like you all were getting around to saying I would have to take the site down. I appologize once again for my misconceptions. Reanjr put it straight for me.

I would like for you and the others to look it over please as I have made the changes I think are correct to keep it legal. If there is still more to be changed, just let me know.

This is looking to be a very useful resource. What are your future plans for this?
Hiya Roudi, long time no see ya! :-)

Well... future plans? I don't know, besides keeping it updated as the MSRD is updated by Wizards.

I would like to hyperlink it like Sage did for his SRD. I've been working on cleaning up the html: getting rid of redundant tags and such.

I wonder if you have some other suggestions though???

Note the changes on the main.html page, the msrdlegal.html page
Since you want to keep your formatting unblemished, it would be a good idea to have a "Declaration of Product Identity" (which would cover your layout). You should probably also have a "Declaration of OGC" which spells out exactly what is and is not OGC.

- PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION -

All of the text, including the text that comprises the hyperlinks to the html pages, sans the Home page link and the main.html page, are Copyright Wizards of the Coast.

The main.html page, and the 'Home' link to it, including all html tagging that comprises and creates this compilation known as "d20 MSRD [COMPLETE]", is Copyright Rob Allsbrook 2006.

The html that comprises this compilation is not Open Game Content.

Kingpaul, that is what I put in the License... should it be changed ?

That's pretty much it.

However, rather than saying "are copyright Wizards of the Coast" you'll probably just want to put "are open content". The license doesn't require that you get more specific than that, and this way if you wanted to make additions from other Open Content sources you wouldn't have to change your legal page and detail who wrote what.

Sorry for seeming so critical before. Honestly, I'm really glad that you went through the trouble of putting all this stuff online. I've become so addicted to the online fantasy SRDs that it was getting impossible to dig through the rtf files for my modern needs. Thank you so much for stepping up to the plate and making a complete Modern version.

Thanks for saying so arscott. I'm thinking if I wanted to do more OC though, I would probably create a seperate site for it.

Appology accepted..I too got a little hot from wrong-thinking. Consider it water under the bridge.

Game On!

I see these SeveredHead:

d20 Modern Links
D20 Modern Expanded Material
Stat Monkeys web page
Joshua Kubli's Gamma World NPCs
Random Name Generator

but not mine...
