D20 Past Cover Posted!

I don't know if anyone has seen this yet, but I just found a preliminary cover to D20 Past whilst surfing around Amazon...

I've attached the image. What do you think? Looks cool so far, and certainly consistent with the standard D20 Modern pose....

Hmm. . . I'm really curious which direction they'll go with this. I would think there would be some overlap with D&D, but the way the classes are handled in the modern line it has a lot of cool possibilities. I'm guessing this will be more of a historical past then a fantastical one with magic and such. Was there a description on Amazon anywhere? Can you post a link?

I must admit, it *does* look quite cool. But I'm afraid my excitement over d20 Modern dried up a long time ago. D20 Future was the nail in the coffin for me. :\

Eh. Didn't like Modern, and haven't seen anything in Future that appeals to me. And I love Grim Tales, so I can't see using anything but that for psuedo-historical or low magic.

Granted, I haven't paid much attention, but it seems to me that Modern hasn't gotten a lot of support. Not sure that Past would get a lot of attention, as it would be attracting a lot of the same writers and such as standard D&D.

I do not think there will be any overlap. d20 Past seems to cover 1492+. I doubt that it will cover anything before the black powder era. It looks like it will cover the age of exploration up to WWI or WWII.
