d20 Publishers Who Have NOT Given Up Yet...

Dark Quest

I'm aware that "Dark Quest Games" is still churnin'.

They had Lost Prehistorica out recently and are about to release Hammer of the Dwarven Lords.

Blue Devil Games is still going strong. In addition to our M&M Superlink products (1st Appearance: Luminous will be coming out in about a week), we're attack d20 on three fronts:

1) Dawning Star: Operation Quick Launch will be released very shortly. I can't get more specific than that right now, but we'll having something definitive to announce in about a week. This is our sci-fi setting. I'm immodestly predicting that this release will send some shockwaves through d20 sci-fi circles.

2) Akashic Nodes: The Home of Memory: This is the first in our AU Goldmine series of support products for Monte Cook's Arcana Unearthed. The writing's 99% done, and we're moving to playtesting and art this week.

3) Antimagic: The follow-up to the smash Poisoncraft, this is a complete sourcebook on all things...well... antimagic. Just starting the writing on this. Probably to be released beginning of next year.

Well RPGObjects is still around as well... we just released Blood and Spooks (the ghost hunting version of Michael Trasca's hilarious Blood and Brains) as well as Prometheus Rising 2nd edition (by me) in the last few days.

I'm already about 40 pages into Legend of the Samurai, our second fantasy product, as well.

I'd guess that since Ronin Arts has released 4 new products in the last five days that they here to stay as well.

And with over a dozen more products in the works -- many of them just waiting on layout -- we're probably going to stick around for at least the next week. :)

Cartography Unlimited for RPGs is still alive and kicking. Planning on releasing two products in the next month and The Explorers' Guild will be releasing its first product in January 2005.

Vanishing Goblin have just gotten started, with their first releases Betrayal at Shadewood Keep and Rooms With A View (which I was a contributor on) already out and a bunch more coming up (I have a book coming out with them next year).

Wait.

Chuck, you're writing a book called "Legends of the Samurai"? Excuse me, I'll just be over in the corner, drooling with anticipation. :D

Adamant Entertainment is actually in the process of ramping UP production of D20 products, despite the recent set-back in having to cancel GLORIANA.

CORSAIR: The Definitive D20 Guide to Ships will be released this week, and that's the first of our D20 MasterKit products (which, by the way we will consider submissions for, as long as they fall with the stated goal of "content-rich utility products for D20 GMs and players"). We've got more D20 MasterKit products lined up, which we'll be announcing in the next few weeks.

This month we're also kicking off THRILLING TALES, our series of Pulp-genre products for D20 Modern.

...and of course, we're still plugging away with BUCCANEERS & BOKOR, our support ezine for piratical D20 campaigns.

Didn't you hear? As soon as they finish WFRP 2nd Ed they are going to switch over exclusively to that ruleset!

Of course there is the impending buyout of Malhavoc by ICE which means Monte will be doing HARP products from now on.
