d20 versus non d20

Do you have more d20 or non d20 books?

Although I've brought several games, I only keep those I believe I might play in the future (lucky friends get the discarded books for free if they are fast enough to get them before I trash them). Also, I'm not much in settings anymore. As such, my current collection is pretty small:

1 OD&D
1 d20
2 BRP
1 d6

I am also taking care of my brother's collection:

1 d20
1 AD&D2
1 Fuzion

My alone or combined with my brother, is mostly about non-d20.

Even if I consider all the books I brought in the past it would be something like 10-1 for non-d20.

Easily non-d20, by at least 2-to-1.

Most of my books are GURPS (I have over 50 supplements), over 60%. Most of the rest are d20, though I still have some old 1e/2e stuff (old favorites with which I couldn't bear to part, namely Complete Bard, Complete Dwarf, Fiend Folio, Monstrous Manual, Aurora's Whole Realms, the World Builder's Guidebook and the Dungeon Master's Design Kit), as well as a smattering of Toon, Call of Cthulhu and someone else's Shadowrun book.

I suppose using universal systems tends to kill ones variety of RPG systems.

I have it down to 1 shelf after recently selling my 2e and other stuff to make space. At least 90% of it is d20, although I've been gaming for about 25 years.

My D20 collection far outweighs my non-D20 collection. In fact the only non-D20 stuff I own is a copy of the last edition of Basic D&D put out and a few palladium books (for ideas only) and a copy of Star Trek Aliens.

D20 is far and away my game of choice.

I have one and a half book case full with RPG books (about eight shelves total). Of that about two shelves contain d20 books, the rest is non-d20 such as GURPS, GDW, and a bunch of old Swedish RPGs. Recently bought a load of old Megatraveller stuff, so the percentage of d20 books is going down as soon as I get the package.

Cheers,

Non-d20 by a longshot -- and growing.

In contrast, my d20 collection will be shrinking in the future, as soon as I can find a way to unload some stuff in a semi-profitable manner.

The only d20 stuff that I am really interested in now is 'fluff' that happens to have d20 stats/things associated with it (e.g. City State of the Invincible Overlord, etc.). The only exception to this is the Conan RPG -- but aside from the pocket rules and the Road of Kings, I will only buy additional products if I actually get a chance to run it.

If this had been asked before the d20 license, it would've been own more non-d20 books with my vast legions of GURPS and Hero books but with the d20 license...

I voted d20 but only because about ayear or to ago I had a long period of unemployment and was forced to sell of most all of my books. Hardest thing I ever did but it was that or not pay rent. As I have a job now and have started to be able to purchase books again its been mostly d20 stuff because thats what my friends are playing, If they change to something else that may change the demographics of my collection.

Heavily non d20. I have somewhere between 150-200 d20 books which is less than 20% of all my collection

I am moving soon and its sad but I am getting a u-haul for my games by themselves.

I just sold a bunch of books, RPG and non-RPG, to a place in San Jose called Recycled books. They have a decent used RPG section, D&D and non-D&D, and they pay fair price for their books. In fact I sepent some of the money I recived there to grab some Star*Drive and Dark*Matter books.

I don't know how far up the peninsula you live or how you get around, but it's worth a look.
