I was looking through my books today and it looks like my d20 stuff has actually surpassed the number of non d20 books I have. And that's a lot of d20 books. I'm including D&D (older then third edition) into the non d20 category for this.

So, which do you have more of?

Hmm my GURPS collection is really huge --I have essentially every book

I also have a ton of Unisystem books -- all but 4 and about as much D20 stuff

I would have more d20 but I sold my old stuff when it got clutteriffic

I have a large selection of AD&D 2e boxed sets and other 2e books, plus quite a few GURPS books and WFRP books. I also have handfull of books each for Exalted, nWOD/Vampire, RIFTS, Paladium Fantasy, and AD&D 1e and the core books for Buffy and Shadowrun. Plus, probably, a few other things I can't remeber.

So I voted more non-d20, although I now buy more d210 than non, so if things continue in the current pattern I'd expect d20 to overtake non-d20 in a year or two.

EDIT: Although I'll probably be picking up WFRP 2e, GURPS 4e and possibly Shadowrun in the not-too-distant so that might disrupt the pattern a little.

Another vote for non-d20; by a huge margin...

Glancing up at my shelves I see: Mutant Chronicles, Kult, Unknown Armies, Heavy Gear, Jovan Chronicles, RoleMaster (2 editions), AD&D 1e, 2e, Basic et al, Palladium stuff (Fantasy, Rifts, etc), GURPS, World of Darkness and miscellaneous RPGs (like three shelves worth)…

I have to store my d20 stuff in another room... or rather more accurately, on the floor ;)

Working in a RPG shop all those years ago… wasn’t hard to see where all my money went. :)

Thank the gods I have a wife now who stops me spending my income on that crap :(

EDIT: btw, I still have more d20 than everyone I game with combined... :D

I have about 4 feet of d20 material, 1 foot of first edition D&D, 1 foot of 2nd edition D&D, and about 6 inches of other game books. My elder brother on the other hand has about 8 feet of WoD and about only 5 inches for D&D, d20, chamions, toon and other systems combined.

Interesting way to measure, I'll have to guestimate.

About 3ft of D20, Including D&D, Scarred Lands, Stargate, Judge Dredd, Slaine, Star Wars, Mutants and Masterminds.

More than 20ft of non d20.

I think like Psimancer most of my non-d20 stuff is pretty purchases old (from my student days in my case). While most of my recent purchases have been D20, I'm much more careful on how much I spend, since I have a wife and kid, and other things to spend money on.

I don't play as much as I use to so also don't have that encouraging me to spend.

Definitely more non-d20 books (complete Shadowrun collection (at least the stuff from FASA, not quite up to date with the FP/WK stuff (yet ;))), Midgard, HERO/Champions, Cyberpunk, Mekton, and various smaller RPGs, like Tales from the Floating Vagabond :D - OTOH I have pretty much only WotC d20 books and not even close to all of them (yet :p)).

Bye
