D500 Magic Items

27: The star of Aesil. This blue/white crystal orb about the size of a softball has an amazing power. The area in a 60' diameter globe, centered on the Star is treated as being 30 degrees below 0 instantly. Snow falls within the sphere, water is instantly frozen, and people suceptable to cold begin suffering the effects imediately.

28: Slumber Sheep. This adorable plush sheep is made from white wool. It is prized by wizards and insomniacs. Once per day, it can generate a sleep spell on a willing target (no HD limit) that lasts for eight hours. The user is immune to spells and effects that would deprive her of a restful night's sleep (such as nightmare). Loud noises (such as a battle raging nearby) do not rouse her, but a vigorous shaking will do it.

To make these items better, could we add the requirements and the costs for the non-unique items?
If you wnat to, that's no problem. I just said not to worry about it so that people didn't have to spend an hour posting if they didn't want to :)
Oh and Wonderous Items or artifacts, it's all good, just want to get the ideas flowing. :)

Cool stuff! What's a socket?

Think Diablo. It allows you to upgrade the weapon in certain ways depending on the kind of talisman (like a gem, or rune, or ioun stone) that you place into the socket.
