talking of - I kept wondering just how much the Mayor Fisk anti-vigilante taskforce storyline was going to affect the Spider-Man movie. Will we see TV fallout affecting the movie timeline?, will DoDC take over the taskforce duties...

It's been widely stated that the Punisher will not be in the second season. Could be a misdirect, but seems sincere.

It's sounds like it's not so much Bernthal couldn't fit it into his schedule as Marvel couldn't arrange his filming schedules to accommodate all three of their properties at that point... "Sorry I can't do Daredevil in January for you as I'm doing Spiderman in January for you and also I'm doing that Punisher special in February for you".

As he should. He's also been a major part of Spider-Man's lore.

I'd love to see Peter face off against Fisk, maybe even teaming up with Matt to do so. They could have some great conversations about their methods and philosophical differences. Both are "street level" NYC heroes, but they go about things very differently.


(And recall that I am a person who has not read a single Marvel comic book ever. I am only an MCU fan.)
