I couldn't agree more Lee destroyed that movie and maybe are hope for a sequel.

It's in the previews and if you missed all of them I'm very proud of you... Anyhow the hulk smashing the tanks, though not nearly long enough, was a dream come true and worth every dollar to see it on the big screen. :D

As for best Superhero movie of all time?
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm

We can exclusively reveal that Fox have delayed the director's cut of Daredevil until next year. The film, which stars Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner was originally scheduled for a release in its uncut form this coming April. The disc itself is expected to introduce a number of new scenes (including the ones with Coolio) as well as an all new commentary with writer/director Mark Steven Johnson. No reason has been given for the delay I'm afraid, but if we hear anything we'll pass the word on. Stay tuned.

I recently watched Daredevil again and was once again reminded of how much I actually like this movie.
I like both movies about equally well; both films have things I dislike and things I like in about equal proportion. Given the choice, though, the nod goes to Daredevil. I like masked/costumed heroes, and human heroes, better than something like The Hulk.

Dang. Was hoping you were talking out of your ass. ;) Oh well, now I can only hope they were talking out of there asses. Though my guess is they'll wait until a month or two before the Elektra movie to try and pull a "LOTR EE" right before to build momentum.

I watched Hulk for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I went into it having heard that is was good and that it was very bad, but I was pretty neutral. I finished Hulk thinking it was crap. If I ever watch it again, it will be on the same day that I rewatch The Turning, Doom Generation, and Ghosts of Mars. The only part that wasn't crap was 45 minutes in, when he fought the tanks and helocopters. Other than that, it sucked. I watched Daredevil tonight. I went into it already prejudiced against it. I like Ben Affleck, but I though Jennifer Garner, Colin Farrel and Michael Clarke Duncan were god-awful casting choices.
From the moment the movie started, it had me drawn in, up until the big fight scene between DD and BE in the church. I thought it, and the following fight with not-Kingpin were bad. Otherwise, it was a great movie. Beautifully filmed, a believable costume, nice touches like the pain meds. Even Jennifer Garner wasn't as bad as she could have been. Still not my first choice, but she could have been much worse. It wasn't as good as Spiderman because of the casting and main fight sequence, but it was far better than the first X-Men movie, the 3rd and 4th Batman movies, Blade (the first one), and the Superman flicks from 3 on.

Uh... the father/son stuff wasn't Ang Lee's, it was straight from Peter David's run on the Hulk comic.

Uh... No it wasn't. Peter David simply revealed that Banner's father was an abusive jerk, not that he'd manipulated his son's genetic code or killed his mother, or gained magic powers (the Absorbing Man's) through Gamma radiation. David just revealed that a good bit of Banner's anger issues stem from a crappy childhood. The father never appears except in flashbacks or nightmares. All the stuff that the movie showed concerning Banner's father was straight from Ang Lee and James Schamus (the movie's writer.)

But of course, that's not what reaper's talking about when he says that he thinks Ang Lee isn't a comic book fan. Aside from the Hulk/military battles and the editing technique (which I loved) Hulk just isn't as much 'fun' as it really ought to be.
