Dark Sun Monster Stats

Okay so I am playing dark sun but the monster builder has no dark sun creatures am I mistaken? The reason i ask is i use Combat Tracker "very useful" and i want to use monsters preferably w/o having to go in and create monsters manually. Mainly i want to avoid going through the mundane job of putting all the creatures in. If anyone knows of a file i can download or anything would be much appreciated. If not i guess i better get my A$$ working.

The online compendium (available to all ddi subscribers) and the beta monster builder (only for those in the beta test) both have the Dark Sun monsters.

If you do not have ddi but did at one time, you can use the offline monster builder to create monsters based on those in the book.

I do have DDI and i believe i have the beta monster builder its last update was august 2010 i believe.

I think Alphastream is referencing the ONLINE monster builder beta (confusing, I know). But I think its "supposed" to become available to all DDI subscribers some time this month.

Yes, the online MB should become available to DDI subscribers soon. Right now it is basically a lookup and leveling tool, but you can generate nice output from it. I still use the classic/offline MB to adjust monsters beyond leveling. It isn't too hard if you know the process and know to watch for a few bits (like how it likes to strip out triggers and recharges... just export and then make sure to add them if missing).

My general preference is to go RTF from the classic MB and paste into Word ad adjust the font down twice on the entire table and then narrow the margins so I can have two-column format. Print separately or have encounter notes on another page as needed. With the online MB I just print-screen and trim the image with Word's cropping tool. The quality is good in both regards.
