What IS going on with Dark Sun anyway. It always looked really itnersting to me. A long time ago when I was book shopping with my grandma I had the choice between the Revised Dark Sun Box and Night Below: A bigass Underdark Funfair, and I chose the latter.

Well, there's always the ESD i suppose...

Dark Sun was/is fun.

It was a different world, and had the very alien feel.

I'd really like to see continued novel support myself, but then again the Prism Pentad pretty much explained the world. Leave it to the Wanderer to explain what's past the Ringing Mountains.

to a bean counter darksun = quirky and strange. they don't like that, not realising that the target market for a rpg is quirky and strange people. i loved the gladiator stuff and the new races (woo! to free pdf's) though psionic wild talents kind of got overused in my 2e campaign and every newbie plays a defiler at least once. i think it's like some sort of initiation thing. get it out of your system quick and start to fear the feral halflings my friends. they're back and ready to eat your children!
