Magnus snorts with a mixture of revulsion and laughter as the new collection of undead erupts from the ground. Fire blazing in his eyes, he says to Kamotz and Wrrsk't, "You two might want to move...it's going to get hot in there!"

ooc: movement for Vrrsk't

Vrrk't lashes out at Maw, ignoring the minon grabbing him slams his weapon down on Maw, who staggers under the force force of the blow. He then unleashes his breath weapon, Maw and the two rotters adjacent to him, all effected by the blast. The two rotters collapse to the ground and Maw yelps in pain.

minor: breath weapon: close blast 3 getting rotter 12, Maw, rotter 11: 1d20+5 (I'm guessing he had at least a 17 str) vs reflex: 14, 16, 17 vs reflex which hits both rotters and Maw for 1d6+1 (guessing he had a 13 or higher con) = 4

movement: none yet

ooc: Rotter 12 is dead, which means that Vrrsk't has a movement. RBJ, feel free to move him before the attacks with Magmus or Morvannon.

Kamotz and Vrrsk't, their eyes wide, hastily step out of the way as Magnus brings his staff around with a swirl. The ball of fire swings past him to slam into Maw, filling the area around it with searing heat.

Standard: Attack Maw with Flaming Sphere. Hits Reflex 22 for 11 fire damage. Maw and the three remaining Rotters will take 1d4+5 fire damage at the beginning of their next turn.[/sblock]
 

Round 5

Morvannon's hex sizzles harmlessly over the doppelganger's shoulder.

Grakk moves around the filthy pool, and with a roar, shears through another chain with a single blow.

Vrrsk't's flail suddenly glows with a pearly light as he strikes Maw solidly. He follows this up with an exhalation of flame. Two of the nearby zombies drop, their fragile bodies undone by the heat. Maw still stands, but Vrrsk't is now unhampered, and steps away.

Kamotz steps away as well, healing Vrrsk't with a quick prayer, and smashes another zombie to the ground as well.

Magnus giggles a bit as the ball of fire moves at his command, rolling across the floor and smashing into Maw. The intense heat is too much for the animated corpse, and it falls, unmoving.

Vixo cuts at the doppelganger, missing at first, but a quick backswing pierces deep, and dark blood spills down the "girl"'s smooth leg.

The last zombie crumples under the intense heat of the flaming sphere.

The doppelganger returns Vixo's cut with one of her own, drawing blood but not managing a serious wound.

Slardazial keeps chanting, but looks around now, clearly not pleased that things are going poorly for his forces.

[sblock=ooc]Morvannon misses, and curses Slardazial.

Grakk snaps another chain.

Vrrsk't smacks Maw for 17 damage. His dragon breath kills rotters 11 and 12 and bakes Maw for 6 damage. Maw is bloodied. Vrrsk't shifts away to the west.

Vixo misses, then hits with nasty backswing for 24 damage. Doppelganger is bloodied.

Kamotz shifts and uses healing word on Vrrsk't. Heals 18 total. Since he still has a standard left, he'll use righteous brand on rotter 9, which is adjacent: 15 vs. AC hits, killing it.

Magnus sustains the sphere, moves it to U12, and hits Maw for 11 fire damage, killing it.

Rotter 10 dies from the flaming sphere.

The doppelganger attacks Vixo, 19 vs. AC hits for 7 damage. It shifts east.

Slardazial continues the ritual and regens 20.
