Dave Arneson and Erol Otus?

I picked it up too for all the same reasons. For pure content, it's pretty light, and nothing special at all: A mysterious signal tower on the edge of a plain. (I won't ask Erik if it would have even passed muster as a Dungeon magazine feature...)

But as a token from the Con and an exercise in nostalgia, it's still a fun thing to have on my bookshelf. I'm glad I picked it up. I'm a sucker that way.

First Alpha Magic the Gathering at Gencon '93, now a piece of old-school heroin like this!

If it makes you feel any better Henry...I found a guy at Gencon '94 who was selling Magic Beta Starter Decks for $15.00 each...but the decks had no uncommon cards. All of the uncommon slots were filled with rare cards.

So each of the 9 decks I bought had like 15 rare beta cards in it...

See, now doesn't that completely take your mind off of the module? heh...

Erol Otus is the 2003 shuffleboard champ at Triple Rock Brewery in Berkeley, CA. I was drinking with some buddies, and when I noticed the plaque, I totally freaked out :D

Yeah, it does!

Thanks, buuuuddy... :p

At least you get to go to GenCon!

Here I am, gathering D&D Miniatures information as rapidly as I can... and I still haven't played the game or actually seen any of the miniatures except in photos. My FLGS doesn't even have the promos. :(

Cheers!
