It sounds good but guess what? I don't think you should support it. After all, you've got Dragonstar, which hardly gets any support, Midnight, and a fine line of sourcebooks to continue to feed. Don't let ego overcome you. Either dump Midnight and work on this and Dragonstar, or let this die stillborn.

*Yawn* Another generic and mediocre fantasy world. I'm amazed that this actually made it to the second round. I can only hope that Wizards' final selection will be innovative. --Scott Griffith

I'll only reply to the last post. The internet seems to be the haven for people who want to play the "My Dinner with Andre" roleplaying meta-experience. I have a great love for fringe games and strange settings like Kult and Whispering Vault but I think it's pretty unreasonable to expect others to spend 10's of thousands of dollars with little or no return to satisfy my needs. And I certainly wouldn't fault a company or writer who has produced innovative material such as Blue Planet for also wanting to publish books that paid the repair bills on their 8 year old Toyota.

Just more people using the internet to say things with little information. So, do they want the over supplements like FR? Personally, I'd be happy with just a main campaign book with little to now support as long as the main book was well done.

Personally I'm looking forward to both. Sounds to me though like some people with an axe to grind. Course if they want axes...*whips out his* I got a nice pair right here! ;)

Personally, I prefer to reinact "My Dinner with Andre" using action figures.

That's the great thing about action figures.

Erik

That just begs the question:

What role does the Jar Jar Binks action figure play?

Well, the reason I posted this is that there are a lot of intelligent people here with a lot of opinions.

Now me, I'm fairly on the side of the first poster. The Midnight book isn't even out and there's another setting on the way? Dragonstar is getting some support from 3rd party (hey MEG/TH) and that's great. I guess I'm just worried that we'll see less focus as we see more material.

On the other hand, AEG is doing a fine job with L5R, 7th Seas, Spycraft and outside of the editing (come on Jim, get with the program eh?;) ), the last two one word titles, Mercenaries & Magic, have been damn fine.

Perhaps its just a new time for FFG with their new, smaller sourcebooks coming out to supplement their corel ine. After all, after Path of Shadow, only one other 'core' book remains.

I hope FFG is doing a Path of the Mind as well as Path of Faith!!

That would restore my shattered faith in humanity and their disdan for my superior mental prowess... Nah, it would just be very cool to see a legendary psion/psychic warrior type deal go down.
