That's TOTALLY AWESOME, Rodrigo!

Looks like it could really be a good place to host. How far from the Cleveland Park metro is the building?

About 1000'. Googlemap

Pay no attention to the 'M' symbol on the map. Google has the station a couple blocks from where it really is.

If we decide to use it, no money has to change hands until a couple weeks before the event. There's a cancellation fee if we cancel with less than 7 days notice, though.

There's a lot of fund-raising that I have *sort of* done - I'd like to get a few local game stores involved for promotions and the like... but this is certainly promising. :D

Wow. That's awesome. VERY helpful. I think things should pick up a bit, now...

I may not be in VA anymore, but once you guys get dates and such settled, drop me a line -- tim@ironcrown.com -- and if Rich (Cthulhu's Librarian) or anybody else from Charlottesville is attending, I can see about prying some copies of stuff out of my boss that you guys can use for door prizes.

I am fairly sure that I can get you guys some products (at least a few copies of Rolemaster Express most likely).

Hi,

I am moving up to Laurel next week. So I'd be interested in attending..

Also, I am looking to join or start a new gaming group.

Thanks,
Scott

Fundraising? Hell, I'd be good for $50 right off the bat!

I am inclined to look for a workable date in October. Would allow a decent amount of time for GenCon goers to recover, but wouldn't cut into the Thanksgiving family season.

Thoughts from y'all?

Anything but October 6th is ok with me. I could probably reschedule that if I absolutely had to, though.

EDIT: Can you edit this thread into a poll, or do you have to do that from the beginning?
