If you have been waiting for this, or just interested, now is the time to start looking for it wherever it is you shop.

The pdf is supposedly up at drivethrough and I think RPGNow was also mentioned.

It's already available at rpgnow, but 40$ ist MUCH to pricey for me! :(

I have no problem shelling up to 300$ per month for RPG's and I will certanly buy the boxed set (60$) but I will never pay 40$ for a PDF, especially not in ADDITION to the boxed set (normaly I like both the printed and computerized Version).

It's a bit too pricey for me as well. Penumbra Fantasy Bestiary is the most expensive pdf I've ever bought at half the price for a bigger page count and known excellent quality (I've got the hardcover). Oh well, plenty of great things to buy, too bad this won't be one of them for me.

this is also coming out in a box set, right? I would prefer to buy it in print. I've not had good luck buying pdfs of print books lately.

I'm less concerned about the price of the PDF than about the size. Over at RPGNow, the download for this book is just shy of 400 megabytes. On my poor 56k connection, that's an average of nineteen hours of straight downloading, and that's if the connection stays good the entire time!

The artwork was a nostalgia jolt for me, but I just couldn't bring myself to order this. I'm not sure it would give me anything than the other half a dozen settings that I have but never played give me. I've long felt the need for settings has been a bit oversaturated... I guess now my feeling has solidified enough that I am reluctant to part with any more cash.

Hey no problem. Give me the code, and I'll download them, burn them on a CD, and mail the disc to you. ;) All out of the goodness of my heart*.

* and, of course, a copy for myself    ;) :)

I'm glad some of you know what you don't want, but I believe this is for those who do want it.

Yeah, it is "another" setting, but it resonates heavily with Mystare and even some GH tones, and so if you like those settings there is a strong chance you will like this one. Plus I like the fact that it has kingdoms of "snake peoples".

This would be a candidate for their pdf on a CD mailed to you. That's what, like $7 or something like that to get it burned to a CD so you could copy it onto your computer without the internet connection or corresponding slow download speed?
