Are you just going to have a bunch of computers that people can use to try out the tools, or is there going to be a seminar or presentation, or something else? Haven't heard too much about the digitial tools recently and I am curious as to how these are going to be presented at DDXP.
Which parts of the digital tools will be available? D&D Game Table? Encounter Builder?
On Thursday morning there is a 2 hour Brand and R&D Seminar where we will present a bunch of information about 4e and D&D Insider. Some stuff you'll have heard before but mostly we want to be telling you new stuff. This includes and overview of D&D Insider tools, features, and pricing. There will be screen shots and some video.
Then throughout the rest of the show R&D will be demoing D&D Insider including the Character Builder, Dungeon Builder, and Game Table. It will be a live demo using the actual applications but it will not be a hands on, play with it yourself, experience. There will also be a chance to sign up to be on the Beta testing list.
From what I've read on other boards it's expected to take 45 minutes or so to brief players on the D&D 4E rules for the Living Forgotten Realms previews. How do you plan on handling the 4E rules briefings for the D&D Delve, which only lasts 30 minutes total for a party (just curious)?
There will be a brief overview of the rues and crib sheet to refer back to.
Someone from WOTC mentioned in a prior thread, quite some time ago, that attendees may have an opportunity to leaf through draft version of the PH, MM, and/or DMG. Carefully controlled, no doubt, since you don't want them walking away. Can you confirm if they're going to available for perusal?
We will have spreads that you'll be able to look at. They'll be in a case and will rotate different pages throughout the show so keep checking back to see what is new.
Also ask Shoe to check his pocket, you may find he has mini or something in there.
