Very nice thread. It really shows what cool backgrounds you can build using imagination and various D&D sources. I subscribed to it. Good job, rycanada.
PS: you definitely could use Iron Heroes for this setting. That would take out of the equation all the wiz-bang magic and all the "D&Disms" you seem to dislike.
